Why? This category was a free for all, with voters casting ballots for artists from a multitude of disciplines: poetry, dance, music, jewelry making, visual art, fiction and more. Votes were split among many, still Schenectady independent filmmaker Micheal Feurstein emerged as a clear winner. Besting his second place finish last year. Last year’s winner, Len Tantillo, still made a strong enough showing to tie for second place with fellow visual artist Tommy Watkins. Honorable mention goes to singer/songwriter Kevin McKrell.
